About Me

From a very young age I was fascinated by the ever growing world of visual media. From my beginnings in drawing and painting, I evolved into digital Medias such as film and photography. With my creative scope enlarging and my determination for success expanding, I strived for the best result in my schooling subjects, my creative streak shinning mostly in subjects such as; Painting, Digital Design and Photography.

I graduated reputable New Zealand, Kerikeri High School in late 2011, leaving with an outstanding record of achievement. My first NCEA marking results were very rewarding and showed the high standard I set myself. In my second year of NCEA (2010) I pushed myself even further gaining; Achievement with Excellence, attaining an Academic Honors Award. By achieving this honors award I was ranked in the top 4% for my year level.

In early 2012 I was awarded the “Massey High Achiever Scholarship” for studying visual communication at Massey University in Wellington, NZ. Merely weeks before having to accept the offer, an idea struck me. I realized that my ultimate passion and desire is and always has been within the motion picture industry. Realizing this I applied for the sought after degree; Bachelor of Performing and Screen Arts (Screen Arts Major) which is offered at Unitec, Institute of Technology and only had 14 places to offer. After showing a portfolio of work to two of the top lecturers of my desired course I was accepted.
